Effects of muscle energy technique on improving the range of motion and pain in patients with frozen shoulder

Introduction and Aim: Muscle Energy Technique (MET) is a type of manual treatment that utilises the energy muscle in form mild isometric contraction to stretch relax muscles through reciprocal or autogenic inhibition. An idiopathic ailment shoulder joint known as frozen characterised by rapid onset discomfort limitation mobility. Much research has been conducted determine how various approaches affect discomfort. This study focuses on MET affects pain range motion during initial stages rehabilitation.
 Materials Methods: Patients who are diagnosed with shoulders fulfilling inclusion exclusion criteria were selected for study. In current study, thirty patients had prevalence musculoskeletal complications selected. Out which eighteen male twelve female. To identify each patient's VAS Score sensation recorded. The same have introduced another seven days. includes 5 repetitions/sets, 3 sets/session, 1 session/day. A statistical test was performed significant difference between pre post-values.
 Results: Most an average (Flexion) (of 132±18.96), (Abduction) (107.00±12.77), (Rotation) (63.50±9.39) score (5.96±1.29). showed improvement decrease per Score.
 Conclusion: shows effectively improves functional ability, relieving Frozen Shoulder early stage rehabilitation.
